A Tuesday match-up between two ranked county teams was decided easily, as No. 9 Hamilton Southeastern took care of No. 21 Noblesville by a 5-0 score. The Royals won every match in straight sets, dropping only 13 games. No. 2 singles Kristie Hsu won her match 6-0, 6-0, while both doubles teams (No. 1 Kelly Iden and Stephanie Iden and No. 2 Lina Goens and Holly Becker) won their matches by 6-1, 6-0 scores. Also winning were No. 1 singles Carol Hsu 6-3, 6-2 and No. 3 singles Shelly Tang 6-3, 6-3. On Monday, Southeastern rolled past North Central 5-0. The Royals won all five matches in straight sets.

Guerin falls to Carmel, beats Crawfordsville Top-ranked Carmel breezed past Guerin Cathloic 5-0 in an all-county match-up Monday. The Greyhounds only dropped two games, with No. 2 singles Mikaela Carlson, No. 1 doubles Sarah Rodefeld and Susie Chen and No. 2 doubles Amanda Nguyen and Olivia Trancik all winning 6-0, 6-0. No. 1 singles Courtney Wild won 6-0, 6-1 and No. 3 singles Hayley Wild was victorious 6-1, 6-0. "The scores do not indicate the overall quality of play," said CHS coach Sharon Rosenburgh. "Guerin is an up and coming team. Carmel girls played very very well." On Tuesday, Guerin Catholic beat Crawfordsville 3-2. No. 2 singles Lauren Jonathan, No. 3 singles Whitney Gryna and No. 1 doubles Ali Hollon and Ana Smolen all got wins. "The players were a little sluggish tonight," said GCHS coach Joe Lustig. "Our quickness and footwork left us, and that led to many unforced errors. Hollon and Smolen played a very good three hour match to secure the win."

No. 1 singles Diane Silberberg took her match 6-3, 6-3 and No. 1 doubles Jordan Culverhouse and Mary Roper won a tough three-setter, 3-6, 6-3, 7-5.

'Rocks split HCC duals Westfield split a pair of Hoosier Crossroads Conference dual meets this week. The No. 30 Shamrocks lost 4-1 to Brownsburg on Monday, then rebounded by defeating McCutcheon 4-1 on Tuesday. No. 1 singles Courtney Ramey was the lone winner against the Bulldogs, earning a 6-0, 7-5 victory. She also won her match against the Mavericks 6-0, 6-0. Other winners in the McCutcheon meet were No. 2 singles Olivia Pursell, No. 3 singles Rachel Gidley and No. 2 doubles Lauren Chapman and Kait Flederbach.

Tigers split meets Fishers played a close dual match with No. 4 Park Tudor Tuesday, losing 3-2. Winners for the Tigers were Natalie Pritz at No. 3 singles and the No. 1 doubles team of Taylor Atkinson and Zan Henn. Fishers beat McCutcheon 5-0 Monday in an HCC match. All of the matches were decided in straight sets, with Eaton winning the No. 1 singles contest 6-0, 6-0. Olivia Ruthsatz won at No. 2 singles, Audrey Mulholland and Cassie Kelly won at No. 2 doubles, with Pritz and the team of Atkinson and Henn winning as well.
